We publish no square-metre price for industrial work. It depends on access, height, the surface, and whether production or traffic has to stop for the work and for how long. We give the price in writing once we have scoped the site with you.

The documents you get before the work starts

On an industrial site the first question is usually what the person responsible for safety can put in their file. We send you, in writing:

a copy of the operational authorisation,
proof of liability insurance,
a site-specific risk assessment.

They go out before the work starts, so there is time to pass them on and read them. Ask for them with the quote and they arrive in the same email as the price.

Nobody stands on the structure and we put up no scaffolding — the crew stays on the ground.

How we scope the site

We do not price an industrial job before we have scoped it with you. Write to us and tell us:

what the building or structure is, and how tall;
what the surface to be cleaned is made of;
how the site is reached, and what surrounds it;
whether the work can run during production, or needs a shutdown window;
the address.

From that we tell you whether and how we would take the work on, what it covers and what it does not. The price comes after that, and it comes in writing.

The structures worth asking about

The list below says which structures we discuss — not what has already been done. If yours is one of these, or close to one, it is worth asking:

If your structure is not on the list, ask anyway. We will say plainly if it is not work for us.

What this service does not cover

Cleaning is not an inspection. We produce no report, assessment or certificate on the condition of a structure, a roof or a piece of equipment, and a clean is not a substitute for a survey.

Photographing a site is separate work and it has its own page: inspection by drone. We make no assessment there either — we supply the pictures and the written observations your own specialist makes the decision on. If you want both, say so in your enquiry: they are scoped and priced separately, though they can be flown on the same visit.

We do no repairs. We do not fix damaged sheeting, loose fixings or failed penetrations. If we see any while cleaning, we tell you.

We do no electrical work, no cleaning of process equipment, and no interior cleaning.

If the structure turns out not to suit drone cleaning, we say so at the scoping stage, not after the job.

How the price is reached

Roof and facade cleaning have a published square-metre price. Industrial work does not, and that is not an omission.

What decides the price on a large structure is access, height, the surface and the shutdown window, not the area. Two buildings with the same surface area can be completely different jobs if one can be washed during production and the other cannot. A square-metre price here would produce a number that was wrong in your favour or in ours.

So the price comes after scoping, in writing, and it is binding.

When the work happens

The shutdown window and the working times are agreed at the scoping stage and written into the quote. We publish no general duration: it depends on the site, and we have no measurements of our own to stand on yet.

The weather applies here as everywhere else: we do not fly in strong wind, rain or sub-zero temperatures. If the weather postpones the work, we agree a new date.
